“Salt” is to blame… A resident of Krasnoperekopsk received 8 and a half years in prison for selling drugs

The Krasnoperekopsk court found a local resident guilty under paragraph “b” of Part 3 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal sale of narcotic drugs committed in a significant amount).
It was established that in the summer of this year, while in the courtyard of an apartment building in one of the microdistricts of Krasnoperekopsk, a man sold a narcotic drug derivative of N-methylephedrone to a local resident, for which he received 4 thousand rubles— reported the prosecutor’s office.
The court, agreeing with the opinion of the state prosecutor, sentenced the man to 8 years and 6 months in prison. The convicted person will serve his sentence in a maximum security correctional colony. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
