School graduates of Sevastopol passed the second compulsory exam

CrimeaPRESS reports:

On June 1, eleventh-graders take an exam in the second compulsory subject — mathematics. Graduates have the right to choose whether to pass the USE at the basic or profile level. The basic one is written by those who need the exam results only to obtain a certificate, and the profile one is written by those who need this subject to enter the university.

Traditionally, mathematics at the profile level is chosen by about 50% of Sevastopol graduates. This year, the difference between the number of graduates who chose the USE in mathematics at the profile or basic level is less than 20 people (less than 1%). 1,204 people will take the basic level exam, and 1,185 graduates have chosen the profile level, — quotes the press service of the Government of Sevatsopol and. O. Director of the Department of Education and Science of Sevastopol Maxim Krivonos.

The basic level examination paper includes 21 short answer tasks, 3 hours are allotted for their completion. To write an exam of a profile level, 3 hours 55 minutes are given, and the work itself consists of 18 tasks of varying complexity.

Recall that the results of the Unified State Examination in mathematics of the basic level will be known no later than June 16, and the results of the profile — no later than June 19. Their graduates will be able to find out in their educational institutions, as well as on the portal USE and portal «Public Services».
