The Russian government will allocate 8.3 billion rubles this year to 30 regions to equip schools and colleges with equipment to study the processes of development, production and operation of drones. This is reported by RIA News.
The order of the Government of the Russian Federation on the distribution of these funds among 30 regions has already been signed. According to the document, the Cabinet of Ministers will allocate a total of over 8.3 billion rubles to these regions for the implementation of the federal project “Stimulating demand for domestic unmanned aircraft systems.”
As follows from the document, the funding “will make it possible to equip schools and colleges with equipment to study the processes of development, production and operation of drones.” Such classes will be held as part of additional educational programs. With the help of federal subsidies, more than 550 educational organizations will be equipped.
Let us recall that at the end of 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Government to create a system of continuous training of specialists in the development, production and operation of unmanned aircraft systems.
