More than three thousand children from all Russian regions will become participants in the “Secrets of the Golden Parallel” shift, which starts in the children’s center 13 — 26 September. The theme of the change will allow schoolchildren to familiarize themselves with the natural, cultural, spiritual features of the Crimea, as a historical and geographical space, as part of a large country — Russia. The shift will last until 15-16 October. The key event of the change will be the All-Russian Forum of Leaders of Student Self-Government «Territory of SUCCESS», which will unite schoolchildren from all over the country. The Forum will allow young leaders to be trained to further develop student council activities in their schools.
The forum will allow all participants to share experiences, work in teams, and learn from each other. Student self-government reflects relationships in society, and our task is to help children make it effective and interesting so that they can fulfill themselves and solve pressing problems. I am sure that civic education in the educational process is the leading component of patriotic education , – the press service of the director of the Artek International Children’s Center Konstantin Fedorenko.
The head of Artek emphasized that it was in Artek last year at a strategic session that young leaders from all over Russia developed a model of school self-government, adopted the Manifesto and made their proposals to the program of the All-Russian Forum, which starts in 11 shift.
The main events of the Forum will take place 10-13 October. The educational venues will host master classes, motivational meetings, qualifying rounds and the semi-finals of the Dream School debate championship, team building trainings, panel discussions, TED — conference «Presentation of the work experience of student councils» and meetings with guests.

October 1 — International Day of Older Persons and International Music Day — a volunteer action will be held, in which the volunteers of the children’s center will congratulate holiday of veterans of «Artek», there will also be a concert of the winners of the competition of instrumental performance «Seven notes — and the music sounds!». The shift program includes the educational project «Without a statute of limitations» (visiting the memorial «Krasny concentration camp»), volunteer actions to improve the monuments to doctors in the territories of the Krinichka t / b and in the Lesnoy camp, the civil-patriotic action «Serve Russia is destined for you and me”, participation in the All-Russian campaign “Save the Forest”, the olive harvest festival, the reading marathon “A Million Literary Adventures”, educational “Conversations about the Important”, creative meetings “Music Changes the World” from the Gnessin Russian Academy and motivational meetings within the framework of the Artek society «Knowledge».
