Sergei Aksyonov: «The Russian language is the most important basis for the identity of many millions of people»
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Commentary by the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov in connection with the Russian Language Day (Pushkin Day).
Today is Pushkin’s birthday and Russian Language Day. We are celebrating this holiday in the conditions of a war unleashed against Russia in all directions, including on the cultural front. Pushkin has become one of the main targets of the enemy, who feels the power of the great Russian word.
Describing Mazepa in the poem «Poltava», Alexander Sergeevich, in fact, gave an exhaustive description of all the spiritual heirs of the traitor, including the current Kiev regime:
“… That he does not know the shrine,
That he does not remember the goodness,
That he loves nothing
That he is ready to pour blood like water,
That he despises freedom,
That there is no homeland for him.»
The war of the Ukrainian authorities against Russian culture and language led to the abolition of culture in general. The vacuum was filled with the cult of vyshyvanka and borscht, superstition, cursing and medieval savagery.
Well, the Russian language was, is and will always be the most important basis for the identity of many millions of people. Pushkin and our other classics returned to the Russian lands liberated from the Nazis. They will return to Kyiv, — says the commentary of the Head of the Crimea.
