Georgy Nikolaevich Rubinovsky was born on December 17, 1924 in the village of Bogdanovtsy, Bakhmatovetsky district, Podolsk province. At the front since 1944. Passed the military path from private to squad leader. Was wounded twice. liberated the Baltics. He finished his service only in 1947. He was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree, medals «For Courage», «For the Victory over Germany».
His father Rubinovsky Nikolai Petrovich during the occupation was one of the leaders of an underground organization in the city of Simferopol. In April 1944, a few days before the arrival of the Red Army, he was shot. The name of Georgy Nikolaevich’s father is listed on the wall of the Memorial to the Victims of Fascism «Krasny Concentration Camp».
