Sergey Aksyonov awarded the winners of the regional stage of the International Prize #WEARETOGETHER

The Head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, held a meeting with the winners of the regional stage of the International Prize #WEARETOGETHER and presented well-deserved awards.
The award is awarded for contribution to the development of civil society, to solving social problems based on the results of the implementation of the All-Russian mutual assistance action #WeAreTogether, the award ceremony is held at the end of the year.
In 2023, the national award track collected more than 39 thousand projects from volunteers, NGOs and commercial organizations from all regions of the country, which is 30% more than in 2022. More than 200 applications for the award were received from the Republic of Crimea in 2023. On July 28, the winners of the regional stages of the award were determined; 34 representatives from the Republic of Crimea became winners. 24 representatives from the republic advanced to the semi-finals.
On October 16, the finalists of the award were announced and popular voting was launched on the territory of the Russian Federation. The finalist of the award from Crimea was the Charitable Foundation for Social and Creative Initiatives “Living Water”.
Sergey Aksyonov thanked the competition participants in his welcoming speech.
Today we honor all participants in the regional stage, whose contribution to resolving social problems is so important. After all, these are not just leaders of public opinion, but caring people for whom someone else’s grief and someone else’s problem become their own. Special thanks for everything you do for military personnel, our defenders. Thank you for all the decisions you make for the greater good. These are the kind of people both Crimea and Russia needsaid the Head of the Republic.
REFERENCE: Pursuant to the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation, starting in 2021, the International Prize #WEWTOGETHER is being presented in Russia. The founder of the award is the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the organizer is the Association of Volunteer Centers. The main goal of the award is to recognize and support leaders of socially significant initiatives aimed at helping people and improving the quality of life in Russia and in the world. Participants of the award are representatives of business, non-profit organizations and volunteers from all over the country.
