Sevastopol City Electoral Commission has completed accepting documents for candidate registration

The Sevastopol City Electoral Commission (SCEC) has completed accepting documents for registration of candidates for deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the city of Sevastopol of the third convocation.

According to the final data as of July 9, 2024 (18:00), the following documents were submitted to SGIK for registration:

• Sevastopol city branch of the political party LDPR — Liberal Democratic Party of Russia;
• Political party COMMUNIST PARTY COMMUNISTS OF RUSSIA;
• Sevastopol regional branch of the All-Russian political party «UNITED RUSSIA»;
• Sevastopol city branch of the political party «COMMUNIST PARTY OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION»;
• Regional branch of the Socialist political party «A JUST RUSSIA — PATRIOTS — FOR TRUTH» in the city of Sevastopol;
• Regional branch in Sevastopol of the Political Party «NEW PEOPLE».

According to the city lists, the number of candidates for deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the city of Sevastopol of the third convocation is 127 people. In single-mandate constituencies, 43 candidates submitted documents for registration.

The decision on registration or refusal to register is made by the North Caucasus Electoral Commission within 10 days from the date of receipt of the documents required for registration of candidates.
