Sevastopol enterprises of the fishing industry will receive additional state support

An additional 20 million rubles will be allocated for state support of the fishing industry in Sevastopol. Funds from the reserve fund of the City Government will be brought to enterprises in the near future.

Director of the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Market Natalia Skoryukova explained that the subsidy will partially cover part of the cost of fuel and lubricants and wages for employees of fishing enterprises.

Also, the funds will be used to reimburse part of the costs that were incurred for the production (catch) of red mullet, sprat, sprat, anchovy and horse mackerel , — said the head of the department.

Recall that state support for industrial fishing is traditionally provided within the framework of the regional state program «Development of agricultural, fishery and agro-industrial complexes of the city of Sevastopol.» In May 2022 of the year, the Department of Agriculture and the Consumer Market provided enterprises and individual entrepreneurs in the industrial fishing and aquaculture industry with subsidies in the amount of 9.5 million rubles and 3.4 million rubles, respectively.
