Sevastopol police remind about security measures during Christmas events

CrimeaPRESS reports:

On the night of January 6-7, during the festive events dedicated to the celebration of the Nativity of Christ, for the personal safety of citizens, Sevastopol police officers will exercise control using special devices. This was reported in the regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In order to ensure the protection of public order and public safety, the police examined and took under protection 16 places of worship. The police, the Russian Guard, representatives of the Cossacks and voluntary national teams will take part in ensuring the safety of citizens. Patrol routes will be as close as possible to the places of religious events. For the safety of citizens, checkpoints and inspection activities will be carried out at many facilities , the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol reports.

The Sevastopol police ask you not to take bulky items, piercing and cutting objects, traumatic weapons, aerosol cans, alcoholic drinks, drinks in glass containers, as well as pyrotechnic products.

If you find a suspicious item, do not ignore this fact. Try to establish: whose it is or who could have left it. At the same time, do not touch, open or move the find — it can be dangerous. Immediately report the suspicious object by calling 102 or a nearby police officer. Remember that the appearance of the item may hide its real purpose , — noted in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Sevastopol police reminds:

Be careful when visiting public places and places where festive events are held. Remember: your foresight can prevent an offense or crime.
