Sevastopol residents are participants of the “Young South” forum in the Zaporozhye region

At the first district forum «Young South» in Berdyansk, 300 participants gathered — representatives of the youth of the Zaporozhye region, the Lugansk and Donetsk people’s republics and other southern regions of Russia. Sevastopol was represented by Deputy Head of the Department for Youth and Sports Marina Slonchenko and volunteer, member of the Public Council under the Department Yana Dobrobabina.

We are with you with all our heart and with our new regions. I am sure that the work that has been carried out here, and the work that is being done, is a good impetus that will move us forward. It is important that such events are held specifically for young people. The most important thing is that there is an opportunity for new regions of our country to get together, discuss plans and prospects for the future, and develop an understanding of how to organize the work of organizations. The forum participants were divided into 12 groups, the program blocks were held simultaneously at several sites. Young people took part in panel discussions on youth policy and development opportunities, in group work on creative thinking, organizing events, fakes in the information space. In addition, the activists met with journalist and writer Vladlen Tatarsky, singer Akim Apachev.

Recall that the forum «Young South» was held in Berdyansk, Zaporozhye region from 9 to 11 November. The participants discussed youth policy, got to know each other, exchanged experience and together built an effective system of support for talented youth.
