Sevastopol residents employed in the tourism sector will receive financial support

Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev took part in a meeting of the Presidium of the Government Commission for the Development of Tourism in Russia. The Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov, at an expanded meeting of the Presidium of the Government Commission for the Development of Tourism in Russia, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, announced the adopted targeted decisions to support business in regions operating in conditions of limited transport accessibility. Sevastopol is among the regions that will receive state support.
By the end of this week, we will transfer 1.6 billion rubles to Crimea and Sevastopol. This money will be used for lump-sum payments for 1.5 thousand companies and individual entrepreneurs. Behind these figures is the support 53 of thousands of people employed in the tourism sector. We expect the regions to approve the rules for the provision of subsidies , Maxim Reshetnikov stressed.
During the meeting, the Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, reported on the implementation of measures to support entrepreneurs in the tourism industry in Sevastopol in the face of geopolitical and sanctions pressure. The head of Sevastopol confirmed the readiness of the region to fully implement this support measure.
All agreements with the federal center have been signed, the adoption of the regional act is planned tomorrow, December 8, and on Friday we will start accepting applications, which will last 10 days . Applications will be accepted on the electronic platform, where the majority of Sevastopol entrepreneurs are already registered, as they used the support measure during the covid period. The experience of the previous two years of using the system for issuing support measures in the amount of the minimum wage during the Covid-19 period showed its effectiveness , Mikhail Razvozhaev said.
About million rubles will come from the federal center to the region. These funds will be used to pay about 3000 to workers in the tourism industry. At least 600 business entities will receive a lump sum payment.
Also, the governor of Sevastopol appealed to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko with a request to consider the possibility of allocating funds for this support measure next year and increasing funding for the city of Sevastopol, because. the tourism industry is the most affected in the current season.
Recall that applications will be accepted within days electronically through the Universal Automated System for Electronic Interaction between Business and Government of the city of Sevastopol using authorized ESIA profiles. The My Business center will process applications and issue support.
