Sevastopol: what payments refugees from the DPR and LPR can expect
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In Sevastopol, refugees from the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, in addition to a one-time cash payment in the amount of thousand rubles for each person in the family, can apply for additional child benefits. This was reported in the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
Citizens who arrived from the DPR and LPR, who have Russian citizenship, as well as foreign citizens living in Russia, stateless persons and refugees through the Pension Fund can apply for maternity benefits, a one-time allowance for the birth of a child, monthly allowance for the care of a child up to one and a half years, a one-time allowance for the transfer of a child to be raised in a family, a one-time allowance for the pregnant wife of a conscripted military serviceman and a monthly allowance for a child of a conscripted military serviceman , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the deputy head of the social security department of the relevant department, Evgenia Pytko.
According to her, these same categories of citizens can apply for regional measures of social support provided for by the current legislation of Sevastopol. These include child benefit; allowance for a child of a single mother; allowance for a child whose parent avoids paying child support.
Additional conditions are already included here — this is a criterion of need. The allowance is granted if the average per capita family income for the three months preceding the month of application does not exceed the subsistence minimum per capita established in the region , says the deputy head of the department.
In addition, families with children who arrived from the DPR and LPR and have Russian citizenship may receive additional social support measures. These include a monthly cash payment for a child aged three to seven years inclusive; state social assistance in the form of social benefits; monetary compensation for the purchase of school uniforms for children from large and low-income families; one-time cash assistance to school-age children from low-income families.
The application and documents required to receive benefits can be submitted in person when visiting the offices of the Pension Fund or regional departments of labor and social protection, through the public services portal if you have a verified account, or through the branches of the MFC,” added Evgenia Pytko.
