Sevastopol will host the 5th All-Russian Festival of Military Bands of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation

From to 12 June, Sevastopol will host the anniversary V All-Russian Festival of Military Bands of the National Troops Guards of the Russian Federation «Always on guard — 2022». It is timed to coincide with the celebration of the Day of Russia and the Day of the City and is held in support of the servicemen of the Russian Guard and the Ministry of Defense participating in a special operation in Ukraine.

The festival will be attended by both local groups of the Russian Guard and the Black Sea Fleet, as well as invited military bands from Simferopol, Kerch, Novocherkassk and Krasnodar. The main guest of the wind music festival will be the military band of the headquarters of the Southern District of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation from Rostov-on-Don.

June at 12: 00 The festival program will be opened by performances of participating orchestras. On the summer stage of Primorsky Boulevard «Rakushka» a military band of the Black Sea Fleet will give a concert. In the park «Uchkuevka» residents and guests of the city will be able to hear the military band of the Novocherkassk formation of the National Guard of the Russian Federation from the Rostov region. The military band of the Main Directorate of the Russian Guard in the Krasnodar Territory will perform at the Tauric Chersonese Museum-Reserve. Admission to all events is free.

June at 12: 00 on the parade ground of the museum complex of fortifications «Mikhailovskaya Battery» a theatrical performance of military bands will take place. Each group will show a parade-concert, and the performance will end with fireworks. Admission to the event is free.

The main action of the festival will unfold 12 June, on the Day of Russia. B : 00 from the Sevastopol Center of Culture and Arts on the street. Lenin, 25 in the direction of Nakhimov Square, a procession of military bands will begin. Each of them will make a stop in front of the Government building, where they will show an excerpt from the parade-concert. At 17: 20 the grand opening of the festival will take place on Nakhimov Square — the combined orchestra of the forum, consisting of 300 musicians, will play the anthems of the country and the city, will perform the Sevastopol waltz and other famous works. At 17: 00 a marathon of concert performances by military bands will begin on the main city stage. The song and dance ensemble «Stavropolye» and the song and dance ensemble of the Black Sea Fleet will perform at the finale of the holiday.
