Detachments of warships of the Black Sea Fleet returned to the permanent bases of the Crimean and Novorossiysk naval bases of the fleet after the exercise in the Black Sea.
In the sea combat training ranges, the crews of the ships as part of heterogeneous and homogeneous tactical groups completed combat training tasks for conducting naval combat, conducted artillery firing at targets simulating ships and means of air attack of a mock enemy.
In addition, in order to improve the command and control system and combat training, the crews of the ships conducted training in communications, damage control, anti-aircraft, anti-submarine, anti-sabotage defense when parking on an unequipped roadstead, as well as on a sea crossing , — reports the press service of the Southern Military District.
After scheduled maintenance and replenishment of material reserves, the crews of the ships of the Black Sea Fleet will continue to perform tasks as intended.
In the completed planned exercises of the Black Sea Fleet, as part of heterogeneous groupings, naval strike groups and landing ship detachments, more than 20 warships of various classes were involved: frigates, patrol ships, small missile ships and missile boats, landing ships, small anti-submarine ships, as well as mine defense ships.
