The sign of public recognition «Star of Artek» was received by two Crimean schoolgirls, the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of the Republic of Crimea reported.
The 1st shift 2022 of the year «Time of Leaders» has ended at the Artek International Children’s Center. Its participants were 1592 schoolchildren from different regions of the country, including 524 the president of the student self-government of the Republic of Crimea. By tradition, the best representatives of each camp received the main award of «Artek» — the sign of public recognition «Star of Artek» , — the message says.
According to the results of the first session 2022 of the year, for high personal achievements, successful participation in the camp programs, respect for peers and the Artek community, Artek Stars were awarded to:
— Sofia Lushina (children’s camp «Amber»), president of the student self-government of the MBOU «Kholmovskaya secondary school» of the Bakhchisaray district;
— Yana Meshcheryakova (Khrustalny children’s camp), Deputy President of the MBOU «Yantarny School named after V.V. Kubrakov» Krasnogvardeisky district.
The change for the leaders of the student self-government of Crimea was organized within the framework of the regional quota with the support of the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov. This shift was dedicated and aimed at developing leadership qualities in teenagers, the ability to think and act independently, not be afraid to make decisions, take responsibility and lead people.
