Simferopol Palace of Pioneers — Palace of Children and Youth Creativity — 100 years old
CrimeaPRESS reports:
A gala event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Simferopol Palace of Children and Youth Creativity took place at the State Academic Musical Theater of the Republic of Crimea.
Today the Palace of Creativity is the largest institution of additional education for children in Crimea. It became a hospitable home for children of different ages, raised more than one generation of talented young people, gave them the joy of communication, friendship, new impressions and discoveries. This is largely due to the teachers and mentors who have extensive experience working with children and are completely dedicated to what they love.— says the welcoming address of the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksenov.
The greeting also focused on the fact that the work of the teaching staff helps to increase the authority and quality of additional education, develop talents in children, and instill in them determination and patriotism.
Currently, the Palace implements 315 additional education programs in 4 areas — artistic, sports, humanitarian and road safety.
In general, there are 565 groups with a total of 9,280 children in 130 clubs. Since 2015, students of the Palace of Pioneers have become winners and prize-winners of international, all-Russian, republican, interregional and municipal competition programs more than 15,000 times.
The palace implements numerous republican events both for the professional teaching community, as well as competitive programs, events, festivals, reviews, competitions for students of the Republic of Crimea, including those aimed at educating the younger generation on the basis of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values.
Since 2015, more than 2,000 events at various levels have been held, of which one of the largest is the creative competition “We are the heirs of Victory”, held jointly with the IPO “Russian Unity”.
