Since 2020 the regional capital has become another effective measure of financial support for families with children in Sevastopol. Since the beginning of the program, 2 527 families have already applied for the payment at the birth of a second child. The size of the regional mother’s capital increases annually. In 2020 year it amounted to thousand rubles, in 2022-m — 144 rubles . As noted in the Department of Labor and Social Protection, families can dispose of the funds at their discretion.

The mother receives the payment for the second child born since 2019 year. The criterion of need in this case should not exceed 2.5 subsistence minimum for each family member. The benefit can be applied for when the child is one year old. It is issued through the social security authorities or the department of the MFC. The application can also be submitted through the regional portal of public services , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the deputy head of the social security department of the relevant department, Yevgeny Pytko.

To obtain regional maternity capital, you will need an applicant’s passport, birth certificates of children, certificates of income of family members for the last three months, as well as bank account details for transferring payments.

In addition, from 2015 a year in Sevastopol, you can get maternity family capital. In 2019 year, 2 841 certificates were issued, and since the beginning of the program — more than thousand.

Maternal family capital is a measure of state support for Russian families in which a second child was born or adopted since 2007 year, as well as a third, fourth and any subsequent child, if before that the right to maternity capital did not arise or was not formalized.
