Since the beginning of the year, 25 Sevastopol employers have received subsidies for hiring employees

Since the beginning of the year, the OSFR in Sevastopol has transferred more than 1.3 million rubles to employers for employing citizens under the hiring subsidy program. 25 employers applied for subsidies and hired 35 employees. The hiring subsidy program was launched in 2021 as a measure to stimulate employment and provided for the allocation of subsidies for the employment of the unemployed and graduates of 2020. Later, the project was adjusted to include young people under the age of 30 and refugees from the DPR, LPR and Ukraine. This year the program was extended to participants in a special military operation.

Legal entities, non-profit organizations and individual entrepreneurs registered before 2023 and who do not have debts on wages, taxes, fees, insurance premiums and fines can apply for state support. Each employee is provided with a subsidy in the amount of one minimum wage (currently 16,242 rubles) plus appropriate funds for paying insurance premiums. The employer will receive this amount three times. The first payment will come a month after the applicant is accepted, the second – after three months, the third – after six months— note the press service of the SFR Branch for the city of Sevastopol.

The average compensation provided to employers today is about 60 thousand rubles per employee. To receive a subsidy, you need to contact the employment center through the “Work in Russia” portal to select specialists for available vacancies and then submit an application in the policyholder’s account on the Social Fund website.
