CrimeaPRESS reports:
Speleologist, senior lecturer of the Crimean Federal University and chairman of the Russian Geographical Society in Crimea Gennady Samokhin received a small gold medal of the Russian Geographical Society from the chairman of the Russian Geographical Society Sergey Shoigu. The awarding took place during the meeting of the Council of the RGS branch in the Republic of Crimea.
Today we present the achievements of our Crimean branch of the Russian Geographical Society and discuss plans for the future. It is important to identify what we can do for the government of the Republic of Crimea and what the government can implement together with us — thus building a model of cooperation. We are already holding events in the fields of ecology, scientific and social activities, and launching youth movements. If we join forces, the results of next year will be even better , — the press service of the university quotes Gennady Samokhin.
The small gold medal of the Russian Geographical Society is awarded for scientific works. Recall that Gennady Samokhin is the project manager for the creation of a scientific, educational and recreational complex based on the Taurida cave and made a key contribution to the study of the paleontological find.
