During the first three months 2022 of the year, 22 counterfeit banknotes of the Bank of Russia were detected in the banking sector of the region. Most of all, five thousandth banknotes were found in Sevastopol with signs of forgery — 19 pieces. Also, in January-March, nine counterfeit banknotes with a face value of 100 US dollars were detected in the region.
Do not hesitate to check the money for watermarks, security threads, microperforations when making calculations: the security elements must be determined by touch, be visible through the light and visually change when the banknote is tilted or turned.
