On the Day of Russian Students, employees of the Crimean Linear Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Transport and representatives of the Public Council held the annual All-Russian action «Student Landing». Students of the Simferopol College of Finance and Economics, studying in the direction of «Law Enforcement» visited the transport policemen.
At the beginning of the meeting, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the Crimean Linear Administration Mehman Mammadov congratulated the students on the holiday and held a lesson on the history of the creation of the railway in Crimea, milestones in the formation and development of the transport police in the region. He especially noted the role of militiamen and police officers in solving high-profile crimes that were committed in different years on the territory of the station. He spoke about the ingenuity and patriotism shown by the employees during the detention of criminals. During the event, future law enforcement officers talked with specialists from the juvenile department, remembered the rules of conduct at transport infrastructure facilities, as well as administrative responsibility for their violations, — the press service of the Crimean LU of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs on transport notes.
Police cynologists introduced the students to a four-legged assistant, a golden labrador named Marcel. The dog has demonstrated its prowess at detecting dangerous substances by quickly searching for a hidden odor simulant. Cynologists spoke about the basics of the profession and explained the features of service at transport facilities.
Nikolay Gorbunov, Chairman of the Public Council at the Crimean LU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on Transport, drew special attention of students to the role of the transport police in modern society. He spoke about the specifics of the police service, about the facilities that are in the area of responsibility of the employees of the internal affairs bodies in transport and their role in ensuring passenger and freight traffic. The social worker added that the action «Student landing» is very important and necessary, because it is a great opportunity to learn about the work of transport police in reality. According to the guys, such meetings with transport police officers are very informative and certainly influence their future professional choice , — they say in the Crimean LU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on transport.
