The Russian government transferred part of the Azov Sea waters to a military unit in Kerch for 20 years to ensure the defense of Russia and the security of the state. The corresponding order was signed by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.

It is clarified that the military unit located in Kerch is obliged to maintain hydraulic facilities in the designated part of the water area. The possibility of using this part by legal entities and individuals, including for fishing, is also excluded.
