Tax literacy in Sevastopol is moving into the new school year
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Sevastopol schoolchildren continue to learn the basics of tax literacy through interactive lessons.
Let us recall that the implementation of the YNGa project to introduce schoolchildren to the basics of tax culture took place in April last year. Employees of the Office of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the city of Sevastopol actively participated in the All-Russian project and told 5th graders about what is actually hidden in the concept of “taxes” and how the tax culture of citizens affects the standard of living in the country. For your information, on the initiative of the Federal Tax Service of Russia, such lessons have already been held in 20 regions of the country, covering more than 800 schools throughout the country. This academic year, tax literacy lessons, in agreement with the Department of Education and Science of the city of Sevastopol, will be held in all city schools for students in grades 5-6,” noted the press service of the Federal Tax Service of Russia in Sevastopol.
In order to make it interesting for children, special teaching materials have been developed that, in an accessible form, help young residents of Sevastopol learn a simple truth — everyone’s contribution shapes the development and prosperity of the entire country. Thematic lessons are divided into several parts and illustrated with video materials and cartoons, which in a playful way allow you to form basic ideas about how the budget of Russia and its regions is formed.
At the end of the lessons, the schoolchildren, using a special form of questionnaire in the form of a “palm”, shared their thoughts and impressions about the lessons.
