The Social Fund in Sevastopol awarded more than 700 disability pensions without application

This year, the SFR Branch for the city of Sevastopol assigned 745 insurance and social disability pensions to citizens who were not previously pensioners. All payments were processed without submitting an application — based on information coming from the Federal Register of Disabled Persons.

The Sevastopol Branch of the Social Fund makes the decision to grant a pension in a non-declaration format according to data from the Bureau of Medical and Social Expertise (MSE). Information about the established disability is sent by the ITU bodies to the register of disabled people, after which the Social Fund issues a pension within 5 working days. At the same time, a notification of the assigned payment is sent to the citizen in his personal account on the public services portal or by mail.

The pension is delivered in the same way as previously assigned payments. If no payments have been made through the Fund yet, the citizen must choose a method of receiving a pension. This can be done through a legal representative or independently by submitting an application through your personal account on the government services portal or in the client service of the Financial Markets Service, as well as the MFC.

In addition to assigning pensions, the Sevastopol Branch of the SFR, in a proactive format, recalculates payments to citizens with disabilities, and also establishes social benefits for them, in particular, a monthly cash payment and a set of social services. The latter includes medicines and medical products, a trip to a sanatorium, and free travel to and from the place of treatment.

If disability is granted to a citizen who is already receiving a pension, in addition to the previously assigned pension, a monthly cash payment is automatically established, which includes a set of social services.

For participants in the Great Patriotic War, citizens awarded the badge “Resident of besieged Leningrad”, “Resident of besieged Sevastopol”, “Resident of besieged Stalingrad”, and citizens who became disabled as a result of military trauma, federal legislation enshrines the right to receive two pensions simultaneously — a state pension for disability and old-age insurance pension.
