Technopark «IT Crimea» — a member of the jury of the Minor Academy of Sciences of Sevastopol

In the Minor Academy of Sciences of Sevastopol, an interregional competition for the defense of research projects of schoolchildren has ended. The jury included professors and teachers from leading Russian universities, entrepreneurs and representatives of enterprises in the real sector of the economy, experts from the Technopark «IT Crimea».

More than 270 schoolchildren presented their work in 35 sections of 4 large blocks:

  • social and humanitarian sciences;
  • natural Sciences;
  • creative category;
  • physical-mathematical and technical sciences.

The best works, selected by an expert jury, will take part in the all-Russian competition of scientific and technological projects «Great Challenges» of the Sirius Educational Center, and will also be presented in absentia at international Salons of Inventions and Innovations in Russia, China, Korea and Cyprus. Also, the finalists will have the opportunity to represent Sevastopol at the competition “The Future of a Strong Russia is in High Technologies”.

Sergey Golubkin, evangelist of IT Crimea Technopark, commented on the competition:

One of the most important areas of work of the IT Crimea Technopark is educational. Thus, Technopark implements joint projects with Sevastopol State University, implements the educational project “IT-cube. Gagarin. Participation in the jury of the Minor Academy of Sciences of Sevastopol is a great opportunity to be among the first to get acquainted with new research, to become closer to the young audience and, possibly, to identify future specialists. I am sure that interest in IT specialties should be actively supported, young minds are future professionals who will create startups and new companies.

The defense lasted for several days, the winners in all 35 sections were chosen. The competition was completed by one of the most relevant for modern science block on programming and robotics. The jury noted the work of Alexei Adonin, a 10th grade student, who studies the control of manipulative systems (robots).
