«Terrible revenge» in Simferopol — a man-«offended» … burned two cars
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In Simferopol, a local resident will stand trial on charges of setting fire to two cars. A 38-year-old man is accused of committing crimes under Part 2 of Art. 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (deliberate destruction of another’s property, which caused significant damage to a citizen, committed by arson).
According to investigators, in July 2023, a man, while in the area of Rostovskaya Street in Simferopol, saw a Mazda car, which belongs to his friend. He had a conflict relationship with a man, in connection with this, the accused decided to take revenge on him. To do this, hiding his face, he took gasoline, pouring it over the car indicated above and a BMW parked nearby. After that, he set fire to the transport by throwing a match. The arson of the second car was carried out to make it difficult to determine the motives of the crime and expose his guilt. The damage caused by the actions of the man amounted to more than 360 thousand rubles— reported in the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Crimea.
With the approved indictment, the criminal case was sent to the Kyiv District Court of Simferopol for consideration on the merits.
