In Sevastopol, work continues on the reconstruction of water supply networks to reduce losses. This year, a major overhaul will be carried out at 6 facilities: From the 2nd km of the Balaklava highway to VU-17 (stage 2), along Sofia Perovskaya St. (near the lake), overhaul repair of water supply networks with a diameter of — 1200 mm (stage 2), along Pervomaiskaya St., along Timiryazev / Neftyanaya St., VU-8 — st. Levanevsky. To date, work has begun on four sites: st. Pervomayskaya, from the 2nd km of the Balaklava highway to VU No. 17 (stage 2), VU-8 — st. Levanevsky, Du-1200 mm (stage 2). On the remaining two, preparatory work is underway.
For understanding: for example, a conduit on the street. Levanevsky was built in 1978 year, its physical wear and tear is 95%. For more than forty years of operation, there has never been a major overhaul. Capital repairs of water pipelines will be carried out in a trenchless way — the road is not broken, but separate entrances are made and a new one is pulled from these places into the old pipe.
During the period of work, water will be supplied to residents through a temporary conduit — a bypass. In this way, an uninterrupted water supply will be ensured.
All works are planned to be completed by 15 December of this year.
