The Agreement on the minimum wage between the Government of the Republic of Crimea, trade unions and employers’ associations has been extended

On December 21, 2023, the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov, Chairman of the Association of Employers of the Republic of Crimea Alexander Batalin and Chairman of the Union of Trade Union Organizations “Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Crimea” Nadezhda Kradenova signed Additional Agreement No. 1 to the Agreement on the minimum wage between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, republican trade union associations and employers in the Republic of Crimea for 2021-2023, according to which the validity of the Minimum Wage Agreement was extended for 2024-2026.
The agreement is aimed at maintaining wage guarantees for Crimeans.
The minimum wage for employees working in the territory of the Republic of Crimea, with the exception of employees of organizations financed from the federal budget, the budget of the Republic of Crimea and local budgets, is set at a level not lower than the minimum wage approved Federal law dated June 19, 2000 No. 82-FZ “On the minimum wage”, excluding compensation, incentives and social payments.
Additional agreement No. 1 to the MW Agreement passed notification registration with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Crimea, registered without comments on December 22, 2023 under No. 11.
In accordance with Article 133.1 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, after the conclusion of Additional Agreement No. 1 to the MW Agreement, the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Crimea, Elena Romanovskaya, offers employers operating in the territory of the Republic of Crimea and who did not participate in the conclusion of this agreement, join it.
If it is not possible to accede to Additional Agreement No. 1 to the Minimum Wage Agreement, the employer, within 30 calendar days from the date of official publication of the proposal to accede to this Additional Agreement No. 1 to the Minimum Wage Agreement, submits to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Crimea a reasoned written refusal accession.
A reasoned written refusal to join Additional Agreement No. 1 must be accompanied by a protocol of consultations between the employer and the elected body of the primary trade union organization uniting employees of this employer, and proposals for the timing of increasing the minimum wage of employees to the amount provided for in Additional Agreement No. 1 to the Minimum Wage Agreement .
If employers operating in the territory of the Republic of Crimea, within 30 calendar days from the date of official publication of the proposal to accede to this Additional Agreement No. 1 to the Minimum Wage Agreement, have not submitted to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Crimea a reasoned written refusal to accede to it in the prescribed manner order, then Additional Agreement No. 1 to the Minimum Wage Agreement is considered to apply to these employers and is subject to mandatory execution by them.
