The All-Russian Film Festival “Man Exploring the World” starts tomorrow in Crimea

From September 12 to 15, the XV All-Russian Film Festival “Man Exploring the World” will be held in Crimea, dedicated to strengthening the interethnic unity of the peoples of the Russian Federation.
The project is being implemented under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea. Its organizers: Crimean Film Media Center, Crimean Tatar State Academic Music and Drama Theater, Jupiter XXI LLC (Moscow).
New for 2023 is a special program “Animadok”, which will show viewers unusual films where the documentary basis is visualized with animated inserts, when there is a lack of archival materials and video documents. This combination makes the film more dynamic, allows you to maintain the viewer’s attention and interest throughout the entire plot.reports the press service of the Republican Ministry of Culture.
This year, more than 200 films from different regions of Russia entered the competition, of which the festival program included 7 full-length films, 13 short feature films, 19 documentaries, and 7 films from the Animadoc special program.
The competition program will be assessed by two professional juries. Jury of the feature film competition: film director, screenwriter, producer, head of the Yalta Film Studio 1999-2005. Valery Pendrakovsky; actress, director, Honored Artist of the RSFSR, Honored Artist of Russia Natalya Bondarchuk; journalist, theater critic, honored journalist of the Republic of Crimea, film journalist, member of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia Lyudmila Obukhovskaya. The jury of the documentary film competition: producer, deputy director for sociocultural projects of the Roscongress Foundation, teacher of the production department of VGIK Galina Sytsko; film and television director Victoria Lepekha; film critic, writer, screenwriter Yuri Ivannichenko.
The festival will open on September 12 at 19:00, the closing ceremony will take place on September 15 at 18:00. Entrance to events at the Crimean Tatar State Academic Music and Drama Theater with invitation cards.
Screenings of films from the festival’s competitive programs will be organized from September 12 to 15 at the Cinema World cinema (Berg shopping center, Simferopol, 36E Kirova Ave. Admission is free for spectators, the number of seats in the hall is limited).
After the end of the festival, screenings of competitive and non-competitive programs will be held in the “Echo of the ChPM Festival” mode for film clubs in cultural institutions and educational organizations in all regions of the Republic of Crimea.
