On March 6, at the World Youth Festival in Sirius, guests from different parts of the world became spectators of the musical and patriotic play “Faith. Hope. Love». The “Tavrida” art cluster, with the support of the Russian Society “Knowledge,” presented a production telling about Russian women who are now working together with their compatriots in the Northern Military District zone. The main roles were played by residents of the Tavrida art cluster, and with them SHAMAN, ST and Irina Dubtsova.
International Women’s Day is approaching and today at the World Youth Festival we showed representatives of over 180 countries on the planet our dearest, closest and dearest — women. They became a strong support for all men in the country. And their sincere support inspires faith, gives hope and love in these difficult times. The title of this performance contains key words that are the fundamental pillars on which everything is based. The special contribution of the women volunteers who are right now in the Northern Military District zone cannot be measured by the usual measure, but gratitude to them will forever remain in people’s memoryshared SHAMAN.
Musical and patriotic performance “Faith. Hope. Love» is a story about strong Russian women who are now working together with their compatriots in the Northern Military District zone. Doctors, military officers, volunteers — they all contribute to the course of events with their faith, hope, fortitude and female courage.
The play consists of four short stories based on real events. One of the roles in the production is played by a real participant in a special military operation — songwriter and performer Sergei Nikhaenko, who, being a soloist of the Lugansk Philharmonic, volunteered for the front. The first story is about girls volunteers helping in a war zone. The second is about a military surgeon. The third part of the production tells about a girl who works as a war correspondent in the Northern Military District zone. The fourth story in each show is always new, and the play has different endings depending on the accompanying events.
On March 6, at the World Youth Festival, viewers saw an updated version of the show, written specifically for guests and participants from 188 countries. The final part with the symbolic title “Strength”, on the eve of International Women’s Day, was dedicated to female strength, because it is through strong female hands, hearts, eyes and souls that one can see the real Motherland. In the new version of the production, the most popular artist in the country, SHAMAN, acted as the narrator, who combined all the stories into a single narrative and performed the composition “Let’s Rise.” Also taking part in the performance were rapper ST, who performed the song “Before Dawn” and Irina Dubtsova with the song “My Son!” At the end of the performance, she appeared in the guise of the “Motherland” and sang the song “For Us!”
The premiere of the play took place in August 2023 in Crimea at the festival of young art «Tavrida.ART». In November — December, shows were held in Moscow at the ZIL Concert Hall and at VDNKh as part of the International Exhibition and Forum «Russia», and in January 2024 the performance was seen by Tula spectators.
The World Youth Festival is taking place on the federal territory of Sirius from March 1 to 7, 2024 in accordance with the Decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin in order to develop international youth cooperation. The organizer of the World Youth Festival is the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), the operator of WFM-2024 is the Directorate of the World Youth Festival. The Tavrida art cluster acts as a content partner of the event and presents a series of projects in the Festival program demonstrating the achievements of young art in modern Russia.
