The authorities of Sevastopol promise to complete the reconstruction of the water conduit from General Ostryakov Ave. to Pozharova Street by the end of the year

In Sevastopol, work continues to reduce water losses due to the deterioration of city networks. Within its framework, the reconstruction of water conduits is underway. The progress of work at one of the sections — from General Ostryakov Ave. to Pozharova Street — was supervised by Illarion Gapitsonov, Director of the Capital Construction Department.

All material used for the reconstruction of this conduit is imported from Denmark. In this regard, there were certain difficulties with the supply of materials. To date, all the difficulties are behind, the readiness of the object is about %. The total length of the pipeline to be reconstructed by the rehabilitation method is 4 km. Currently, a temporary water conduit 1 km long and previously installed pedestrian bridges are already being dismantled on General Ostryakov Avenue. The contractor started work on the last section with a length of 532 m — from Nina Onilova street to Kovpak street. By the end of the year we plan to complete and put the facility into operation , — says Illarion Gapitsonov.

The head of the department also noted that the reconstructed part of the water conduit is already in operation, all commissioning and hydraulic tests have been completed, residents use clean, tested water. The service life of modern polymer pipes is 50 years or more. The arrangement of water wells is provided from prefabricated reinforced concrete, taking into account anti-seismic measures.

Now we are working on the last sector — these are the streets of Nina Onilova, Kozhanova, Kovpak, Kharkovskaya. As a result of the reconstruction, the water will comply with all sanitary and epidemiological standards and requirements. In addition, sanitation allows you to carry out work without disturbing the landscaping , — stresses the general director of the contractor Ruslan Adzhiev.

The work is carried out by the contracting organization Aquaprove. Contract price — 50, 6 million rubles.

Recall that in Sevastopol, the reconstruction of two more conduits is underway — from the water distribution section No. 7 in the area of ​​​​General Melnik Street to the intersection of Budischeva and Lazarevskaya Streets and from Lazarevskaya Street to Ushakov Square. There are four objects at the design stage: the first stage of construction of water pipeline networks in the villages of Reserve and Goncharnoye, the reconstruction of the water pipeline from waterworks No. 3 in the area of ​​the village of Shturmovoy to the Yalta Ring, the second stage of the reconstruction of water supply from waterworks No. 13 in the area of ​​​​Laboratornoye Highway to the waterworks No. 4 in the area of ​​​​Zhidilova Street and the construction of water supply networks at Cape Fiolent.
