On January 30, 2024, the municipal stage of the XV All-Russian competition “Health Teacher of Russia — 2024” was held at the Yalta Secondary School-Collegium No. 1.
The competition was attended by a teacher-psychologist from the Yalta Gymnasium named after A.P. Chekhova» Tatyana Stelnik, English language teacher at Yalta Secondary School No. 11 Natalya Aslanova, primary school teacher at Yalta Secondary School No. 12 with advanced study of foreign languages Svetlana Smolenskaya.
The main goal of the competition is to demonstrate the professional skills, creative potential, and innovative experience of teachers. Each participant had to submit a lesson plan or extracurricular activity, a fragment of a lesson, and do a self-analysis of the work for the correspondence round of the competition. During the face-to-face round, participants presented a video fragment of a lesson with elements of health-saving educational technologies, self-analysis of the lesson, a creative presentation “I am a health teacher” and a creative improvisation on the topic “Culture of Health”.
The jury, headed by the head of the Department of Education and Youth Policy Renard Kutkovsky, included the director of the city methodological office of the Department Svetlana Dudushkina, the director of the MBOU «Yalta Secondary School-Collegium No. 1» Valeria Mazhugina, a teacher of the basics of life safety, advisor to the director of the MBOU «Yalta Secondary School-College» Collegium No. 1″, absolute winner of the All-Russian competition «Health Teacher — 2023» Dmitry Penkov, rector of the Church of St. John Chrysostom, Archpriest Vladislav Schmidt, technical director of Mayak Security LLC Igor Makagon, chairman of the city committee of education and science workers Valentina Baluda, deputy director State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Yatssssdm» Irina Gaidukova and other teachers. Between the performances of the contestants, pupils of the folk circus “Parade of Hopes” under the direction of Nadezhda Shamanina performed brightly and colorfully in front of those present.
According to the jury, absolutely all participants in the competition were able to reveal their creative abilities, test themselves, showing courage and resourcefulness.
Health is an invaluable happiness in the life of any person. Today, teachers showed their professionalism using health-saving technologies and modern techniques. Carry your knowledge, cultivate a culture of health, improve your health, be in constant creative search, — summing up the results, noted the chairman of the jury Renard Kutkovsky and thanked the sponsor of the competition — technical director of Mayak Security LLC Igor Makagon.
By decision of the jury, the winner of the competition was the teacher-psychologist of the Yalta Gymnasium named after A.P. Chekhov» Tatyana Stelnik. She was presented with a memorable gift “For dedication and fidelity to the profession.” The winners of the competition were Natalya Aslanova, an English language teacher at Yalta Secondary School No. 11, and Svetlana Smolenskaya, a primary school teacher at Yalta Secondary School No. 12 with advanced study of foreign languages. They were presented with memorable star souvenirs “I’m not a star yet, but I’m trying.” The People’s Choice Award from the Yalta Secondary School-Collegium No. 1 was awarded to Natalya Aslanova.
The organizers expressed special words of gratitude to the director of the Yalta Secondary School-Collegium No. 1 Valeria Mazhugina, the life safety teacher, and the director’s advisor Dmitry Penkov.
The competition “Health Teacher — 2024” will continue its start in March 2024 at the republican stage at the Yalta Secondary School-Collegium No. 1.
