The results of the implementation of projects of socially oriented non-profit organizations were summed up today at the Sevastopol Hotel. The best social projects were presented to the event participants, and the leaders of the organizations were awarded well-deserved awards. According to the director of the department of internal policy of Sevastopol, Sergei Bezdolny, this year about 44 million rubles were allocated for the implementation of social initiatives.
In this room are those who, in addition to the project teams, have behind them many more people who helped them in the implementation of their projects. This year, 37 very diverse projects were implemented. First of all, these are projects related to the support of SVO participants and their families, a lot of youth and children’s projects, environmental ones. Today SONCOs do not just achieve project goals, but offer a certain way of life. It is a way of life in mutual assistance, in protection, in constant attention to those whom they help, — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Sergei Bezdolny.
The head of the department noted the great contribution of social activists to the development of civil institutions, and also presented letters of gratitude to the heads of non-profit organizations that successfully implemented their projects.
Also, 10 more public activists were awarded commemorative statuettes of the ANO “Vector of Good”. A total of 26 representatives of non-profit organizations were honored on this day.
