In the Black Sea, the crew of the patrol ship «Sergey Kotov» of the Black Sea Fleet conducted an exercise on receiving a helicopter on deck in the daytime and at night.

During the exercise, the helicopter crew performed a series of landings on board the ship, and, together with the ship’s crew of the aviation complex, worked out actions to ensure the operation of shipborne aviation.— the press service of the Southern Military District reports.

In total, in accordance with the flight mission, the pilots worked out more than 10 takeoffs and landings on the deck of the ship in motion, drifting and at anchor.
