The crews of the submarines of the Black Sea Fleet were trained at modern training complexes (UTK) «Afalina» and «Hephaestus».
According to the press service of the Southern Military District, during the training, the submariners worked out practical skills in conducting diving operations in various types of equipment and leaving a conditionally emergency submarine through a torpedo tube, as well as using individual and collective rescue equipment.
Each member of the crew of the submarines completed a full training course on practical actions to combat water and fire in a conditionally emergency compartment.
Equipment of the training complexes makes it possible to simulate situations and conditions for divers that are as close as possible to real ones. Trainings are held under the supervision of instructors, all actions of military personnel are accompanied by video recording. The uniqueness of the Afalina rescue and diving training training center lies in the possibility of simulating deep-sea space, which allows you to work out various elements of diving training, including passing standards for diving, entering and exiting a torpedo tube and a diving tower , — reports the press service of the Southern Military District.
A feature of the Gefest training center for combating the survivability of the crew of a submarine in the event of emergencies is the presence of a training site for working out a smoky labyrinth simulating the emergency compartment of a ship.
