The Day of Russian Students was celebrated at the Crimean Federal University. The festive program included a traditional prayer service for the Day of the Great Martyr Tatiana and Student Day, sports events, as well as awards for the best students.

This holiday is very interesting and unique. Firstly, it combines two holidays: St. Tatiana’s Day and the Founding Day of the first Russian university. And it should be celebrated not in continuous celebrations, but with a certain warmth in the heart, with gratitude to those who created higher education in Russia, to those who developed it, and to those who today are creating new conditions for students, for their education . As part of the celebration, the university hosted a solemn ceremony to present the student awards “Prestige of the Year – 2023”. A total of 300 students were awarded for special achievements in educational and research activities, systematic participation in cultural, creative and socially significant activities, as well as for achievements in sports. The event was also attended by the head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, who congratulated the students and presented letters of gratitude to the best for their active civic and social activities.
