The festival “Capoeira in the Family Circle” was held in Sevastopol
CrimeaPRESS reports:
On May 18-19, the sports festival “Capoeira in the Family Circle”, dedicated to the Year of the Family, took place in Sevastopol.
An important part of the festival was sports master classes for children and their parents. Moms and dads studied together with their children, helped them complete tasks and learned new things themselves. According to the organizers (the Capoeira Federation of the city of Sevastopol), joint sports help strengthen the bond between children and parents, improve mutual understanding in the family, and give new ideas for spending time together. As part of the festival, an open capoeira training session was also held in Victory Park, where children and adults could try themselves in an interesting and unusual martial art. At the end of the event, belts were awarded to young and experienced athletes as recognition of their achievements in the sport and an incentive for further success.— reported the press service of the Capoeira Federation of Sevastopol.
About 80 athletes from Sevastopol, guests from the Republic of Crimea and the main guest of the event, a capoeira master from Brazil, took part in the festival.
The event took place with the support of the Sevastopol Sports Administration, as well as a number of commercial organizations acting as sponsors and partners.
