Residents of Crimea should not have any fears regarding the payment of wages, the availability of funds in ATMs, the financial system is working stably. Irina Kiviko, Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea, reports this.
Wages attributable to the payment deadlines in February have been paid, the public sector has received everything, all social payments have been received. Starting tomorrow, we start making payments, which are provided for March , — said Irina Kiviko.
She also stressed that the sanctions will not affect the financial system of the Republic of Crimea in any way, since the enterprises of the republic were already under sanctions and the banks that operate in Crimea have long been on the US sanctions list.
Therefore, the Crimean financial system works, the Russian financial messaging system also works. It completely replaces SWIFT in our banks that operate on the territory of the Republic of Crimea , — said the Deputy Prime Minister.
She said that she had talked with the heads of all banks that operate in Crimea.
No interruptions in the work of banks are expected, cash is available in all banks. All banks are fully secured. Cars deliver cash to ATMs, replenish during the day several times , — said Irina Kiviko.
