The Kuznetsov family from the city of Saki, which on January 23 in Moscow at the All-Russian Family Forum “Relatives and Loved Ones” lit the fire of the All-Russian Family Hearth “Heart of Russia”, delivered a piece of this fire to Crimea. The ceremonial meeting took place at the Simferopol railway station.
Pavel and Tatyana Kuznetsov have been together for 40 years; they recently celebrated their Ruby wedding. It was they who had the honor of lighting the fire on January 23 at the opening ceremony of the Year of the Family in Russia. Today we are happy to meet our famous family and embrace the family fire with trepidation. As part of the meeting, a ceremonial handover of the lamp with the Fire of the Family Hearth to the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Crimea Oleg Shapovalov took place for placement in the central registry office of the Republic of Crimea.

The fire for the “Heart of Russia” was brought from the Holy Trinity Monastery in Murom, the birthplace of Saints Peter and Fevronia. And Murom has long been called the capital of this bright holiday — tens of thousands of tourists and pilgrims come to the city every year.
The total number of families in the Republic of Crimea is about 500 thousand; according to Crimean Statistics, 1.066 million people are in marital relations. Large families — 32.7 thousand, with 107.9 thousand children (at the beginning of 2020 — 27.9 thousand families with 92.2 thousand children). For the first time in 2023, 962 families (including 5,292 children) received the status of large families. 5.1 billion rubles have been allocated from the republican budget to support families with children in 2024.
