The first bell rang at the Artek school

On September 1, at the school of the Artek International Children’s Center, the first bell rang for 330 schoolchildren from Gurzuf, Yalta, Alushta and other nearby cities. This day was special for 28 children who went to the first grade of the Artek school. According to a good tradition, the first-graders accepted the symbolic key to the school from the hands of the graduates and together planted cherry seedlings — the tree of knowledge — in the school garden.

Director of the Artek International Children’s Center Konstantin Fedorenko congratulated all Artek students on the start of the new academic year:
