The Golitsyn Ball took place on the territory of the Sudak fortress

The ball, dedicated to Lev Golitsyn and which has become traditional, was held on the territory of the Sudak fortress. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea. The Golitsyn Ball is an educational project that has already become traditional. It is dedicated to the celebration of 41-anniversary of the birth of the famous Russian winemaker, founder of the Novy Svet champagne factory, Prince Lev Sergeevich Golitsyn.
The script for the Golitsyn Ball was prepared by the chief director of the Crimean Academic Musical Theater Vladimir Kosov, and the mood throughout the evening was created by the brilliant performances of the symphony orchestra artists conducted by the chief conductor of the theater, Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Crimea Elmira Mukhterem. On the stage in the open air, within the walls of the ancient fortress, Prince Golitsyn (actor A. Fomin) was honored by Tsar Nicholas II (artist V. Lukyanov). At the Ball, a polonaise was performed to the sounds of the theater’s symphony orchestra, the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea reports.
The event was attended by leading vocalists, artists of the choir, ballet and orchestra of the theater. The holiday ended with a colorful finale: the sky above the old fortress was lit up by volleys of magnificent fireworks.
