The group of robotic means and drones of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the city of Sevastopol celebrates its seventh anniversary
They fly high and look far. Experts from the group of robotic means and unmanned aerial systems of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the city of Sevastopol operate the department’s quadrocopters, helping to assess the situation at the site of major fires, natural disasters and other incidents.
They monitor during operations to destroy explosive objects of the Second World War and carry out search work from a height using thermal imagers. The units also have other smart devices in their arsenal — underwater remote-controlled robots, ground-based systems— noted in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Sevastopol.
