The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed to look into the appeal of an orphan from the Republic of Crimea

A 24-year-old orphan from the Republic of Crimea contacted the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, through the Information Center. Despite the court decision that came into force in 2021, she has not yet been provided with the residential premises required by law. The applicant with three young children is forced to rent housing at her own expense.
In the Main Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, based on the received appeal, a procedural check was launched, the materials of which were added to the criminal case under investigation regarding violations in the implementation of the housing rights of orphans.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, instructed the head of the Main Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Vladimir Nikolaevich Terentyev, to recognize the applicant as a victim in a criminal case, and also to submit a report on the progress and results of his investigation— reported in Sledkom.
The execution of the order is placed under control in the central office of the department.
