The hike to the Watermelon rock was not a success. I had to call “CRIMEA-SPAS” for help
CrimeaPRESS reports:
What “bad luck” means is now well known to the tourist who went on Sunday, November 5, on a hike to the Watermelon rock (in the Fox Bay area, in the vicinity of Sudak). While climbing the mountain, the man injured his leg. And the hike was over, and there was no way to go back — any movement caused severe pain. I had to call “CRIMEA-SPAS” for help.
Rescuers and doctors from the Sudak ambulance quickly arrived in the area of the incident.
Upon arrival at the intended location of rescue operations, KRYM-SPAS employees began a search. As a result, the victim was found near the Watermelon rock. Rescuers provided the man with first aid by applying a splint to the injured limb. After that, with the help of special stretchers, he was evacuated to a service vehicle and handed over to medical workers.— reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
