Employees of the Center for Countering Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea, together with colleagues from the regional FSB Directorate, as a result of operational search activities, identified and detained a 58-year-old resident of the Krasnogvardeisky district. The investigator of the OP No. 2 “Kievsky” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Simferopol initiated a criminal case against the citizen on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Article 207 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Knowingly false report of an impending explosion, creating a danger of death, causing significant property damage , or the occurrence of other socially dangerous consequences, committed out of hooligan motives in relation to social infrastructure facilities).
The court sentenced the man to three years of suspended imprisonment with a probationary period of two years.
