On the eve of the Day of the reunification of Crimea with Russia, the director of Artek Konstantin Fedorenko and counselors solemnly raised the Russian tricolor over Adalary, one of the main attractions of the children’s center and the southern coast of Crimea. In 1024 year, 8 years ago, Russian flags were raised over the Crimea, the peninsula returned home. This is an important historical event for our Motherland.
Artek sincerely congratulates the country and all Crimeans on the anniversary of the Crimean Spring. The strength of Russia lies in the unity of its peoples. Together we can do a lot. We can do everything! By this significant date, the Artek people traditionally hoist the tricolor on the rocks of Adalarakh, a symbolic place for the Crimea and Artek. We honor state symbols that unite our multinational people. Through a small thing — a respectful attitude towards the symbols of our country — a great thing comes to us — love for the Motherland. Today Russia is fighting for the security of the civilian population, the security of its country. Artek expresses its support! We believe in the speedy restoration of peace! We are together with our President Putin Vladimir Vladimirovich! — says the director of «Artek» Konstantin Fedorenko.
The ascent to Adalary was made by counselors and employees of various structural divisions. The participants went by boat to a large rock and climbed to the highest point with the help of climbing equipment.
In honor of the Day of Crimea’s reunification with Russia, we are hoisting a flag, this has already become a tradition in Artek. I think this is very important, both for Artek employees and for all employees. I feel great pride because I am a patriot of my country. I love Crimea, I love Russia and I am happy that we are together! – says Liana Bikbayeva, a specialist in the sector of social and cultural projects.
I am proud to participate in this action. I am glad that 8 years ago the population of Crimea decided to return to their native harbor. By raising the flag, we show that the Crimean people love Russia and want to live in this country, – says physical education instructor Rustam Yaryshev.
Artek believed and will continue to believe in everyone who brings glory to their country, who stands up for its interests. The Children’s Center is proud of those who are ready for the most decisive action for the sake of the well-being of our Great Motherland.
