The loan portfolio of Crimean residents grew by almost 40% over the year

Loan portfolio of individuals as of April 1

The growth rate of lending to citizens in the Republic of Crimea exceeded the all-Russian level (+21%) and the figure for the Southern Federal District (+23%). Thus, the portfolio of mortgage loans increased by 21%, growth was stimulated mainly by the demand for preferential «family mortgages». As of the beginning of April, the portfolio of consumer loans increased by 30,5%, due, among other things, to the need to equip housing, which was also purchased under preferential lending programs. The increase in the key rate in February increased the attractiveness of deposits as a savings instrument, especially in March.

According to the results of the 1st quarter 2022 of the year, the Republic of Crimea is among the leaders in terms of the growth rate of funds from the population among the regions of the Southern Federal District, and the dynamics of attracted funds from citizens as of April 1 of the current year in relation to the same period 2021 of the year exceeded the indicators for the country (+3.6%) and the district (+5.3%).
