The maternity hospital of the Feodosia Medical Center has been equipped with new equipment. This was announced by the head physician of the medical institution Eduard Pyankovsky.
Within the framework of the departmental target program “Modernization of state healthcare institutions in order to bring them up to federal standards and regulations”, an X-ray digital ward device was purchased at the maternity hospital, the cost of which amounted to more than 7 million rubles. Mobile equipment will make it possible to conduct X-ray examinations in the wards without transporting patients to a special room. At the same time, the chief physician notes the accuracy of diagnosis and the high quality of the images of the new device.
The institution is equipped with a modern artificial lung ventilation apparatus, two defibrillators and a fetal monitor, thanks to which it is possible to listen to the heartbeat of a child in the womb. The cost of all this equipment as a whole exceeded 2.5 million rubles , — said the head physician.
As Eduard Pyankovsky stressed, the purchased modern equipment will improve the quality of medical care for pregnant women and newborns.
