The Meganom Academy intends to create a personnel reserve in the field of music management

From December 2 to 8, the Academy of Creative Industries «Meganom» (project «Tavrida.ART») will host the first module of the educational program «Music Industry in Russia: New Management Solutions», which is aimed at creating a personnel reserve in the field of music management. Registration is open until November 2 at website art cluster «Tavrida» and in the application «Meganome» in VK.

The program is aimed at creating promising projects in the field of concert and music management. Its participants will get acquainted with new production technologies, improve their management skills, and increase the level of professional knowledge in the field of creative industries.

The goal of the program is to form a personnel reserve of employees and managers of regional cultural institutions in the musical field, improve their professional level and expand their musical horizons. Under the mentorship of experienced managers, program participants will be able to form new contacts and assemble creative regional teams and teams ready to work in the new reality. The program covers topics such as project management, fundraising, the basics of security and technical production, marketing and promotion of a music project, legal and financial aspects, and the structure of the music industry in Russia.

The project includes online blocks from December 11 to February 25, during which participants will create original material and receive feedback from experts. They will also be able to participate in collaborations with other participants, which will help them expand their musical horizons and find like-minded creative people. The program of online meetings is divided into blocks, which include thematic modules on current topics, where speakers and curators will present information in the form of discussions and webinars.

In the final, the participants will present their projects in defense before a professional commission as part of the “Winter International Arts Festival in Sochi, artistic director Yuri Bashmet.”

The speakers of the program will be producers, music managers, lawyers, PR and brand specialists.

The curators of the program were Roman Khristyuk — executive director of the Igor Butman Foundation and Igor Butman Music Group, co-founder of the international forum-fest Jazz Across Borders and the largest jazz festival in Russian history, Moscow Jazz Festival, Dmitry Grinchenko — director of the Russian Concert Agency, Anna Khramova — director musical direction of the art cluster «Tavrida».
